This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Define and guide the technology roadmap for Payroll and Time & Attendance functionalities

• Act as the senior IT executive for Payroll and Workforce Management systems

• Lead and nurture a global and regional team of IT professionals

• Establish governance frameworks, standards, and operational models for enhancements, releases, integrations, vendor management, and service delivery

• Supervise lifecycle management, implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process transformation initiatives

• Enhance time capture, attendance monitoring, payroll accuracy, and workforce data flow

• Ensure seamless integration between Workday, UKG, ADP, ERP, connected systems, and reporting tools

• Promote the standardization of global processes while accommodating specific plant-, country-, and region-related needs

• Address the requirements of the manufacturing workforce and reduce payroll and timekeeping disruptions

• Manage production support and operational stability for payroll and time-related applications

• Establish and track service levels, incident response, problem management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement

• Resolve issues impacting employee pay, time capture, attendance exceptions, interfaces, and downstream reporting

• Monitor system health, interface performance, batch processing, reconciliations, and data quality controls

• Ensure adherence to wage and hour laws, payroll tax and reporting obligations, labor regulations, collective bargaining considerations, and data privacy requirements

• Maintain controls over payroll and employee data, including access management, segregation of duties, audit logging, change control, and data retention

• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Legal, and Cybersecurity teams on audits and control frameworks

• Identify and address operational, technology, compliance, and vendor-related risks

• Provide leadership in solution architecture and integration design

• Advocate for automation, simplification, and process harmonization

• Enhance labor, attendance, payroll accuracy, and workforce trend reporting and analytics

• Assess vendor capabilities and suggest improvements for scalability, compliance, and user experience


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field

• Over 12 years of experience in IT

• A minimum of 8 years of direct experience in supporting and delivering Payroll, Time & Attendance, workforce management, and related HR technology capabilities

• At least 5 years of managerial experience overseeing employees, including direct management of analysts, architects, or application support professionals

• Proven experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations with large hourly employee populations

• Hands-on leadership experience with UKG Workforce Manager and ADP Payroll platforms

• Strong understanding of integrations across HCM, timekeeping, payroll, ERP, identity, and reporting ecosystems

• Experience leading large-scale implementations, upgrades, and support models in complex operational settings

• In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, timekeeping, attendance, scheduling, labor rules, and compliance requirements

• Established ability to manage vendors, budgets, project portfolios, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships

• Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management abilities

• Familiarity with SOX controls, audit requirements, and data privacy regulations

• Experience with middleware, APIs, and enterprise integration platforms
