IT Cloud Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee cloud-based infrastructure utilizing Microsoft Entra ID.

• Manage and enhance Microsoft 365 services, encompassing Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.

• Establish and supervise identity and access management protocols with Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, and RBAC.

• Automate provisioning and configuration processes through PowerShell.

• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus, Vulnerability Management, and Log360.

• Set up, deploy, and manage ManageEngine MDM on both Macintosh and Windows clients.

• Oversee the Egnyte Storage platform.

• Collaborate with internal teams to uphold data protection and governance policies.

• Assist with incident response and root cause analysis for cloud-related challenges.

• Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles for internal IT teams.

• Configure SaaS environments for SSO.

• Automate computer provisioning utilizing Windows Autopilot, Apple Business Manager, and ManageEngine MDM.

• Manage cloud-based infrastructure services, including AWS, Sophos Anti-Virus, Mimecast, and Bitwarden.

• Provide emergency or pre-scheduled out-of-hours support when necessary.

• Execute ad hoc IT tasks assigned by the manager.

• Coordinate with suppliers to facilitate access to IT resources.

• Research and suggest technologies, equipment, and services, documenting the systems implemented.

• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures and documentation.

• Respond to and manage Service Desk incidents as a level 3 escalation point.

• Report to an offsite manager and independently manage time and presence.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in cloud systems engineering or IT infrastructure positions.

• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft 365, Egnyte, and AWS administration.

• Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell and Azure CLI.

• Comprehensive understanding of networking, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls in cloud environments.

• Expertise in MDM package deployment on Mac and Windows, with ManageEngine preferred.

• Experience with RBAC, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).

• Exceptional troubleshooting and communication abilities.

• Strong English communication, writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Capacity to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines and handle confidential information with discretion.

• Quick learner with the ability to work independently.

• Effective prioritization, time management, organization, and keen attention to detail.

• Understanding of networking principles including DNS, DHCP, LAN switches, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet connectivity.

• Experience in MDM deployment.

• Office 365 administration, including 2FA, email, and Teams.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300).

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.

• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900).

• CCNA certification or equivalent hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, or HPE networking platforms is advantageous.
