IT Business Application Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Deliver advanced technical expertise and experience to create innovative solutions for internal clients.

• Design and execute solutions primarily utilizing Microsoft Azure Cloud and Amazon AWS.

• Contribute to the Digital Transformation of RHI Magnesita within the Digital & Cloud Solution Delivery department.

• Collaborate with other teams and IT sectors while adhering to corporate standards.

• Propose and challenge new ideas with complete autonomy.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of activities.

• Work closely with internal clients to identify and prioritize business requirements.

• Align business needs with effective and practical technical solutions.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and engineers across various countries.

• Assess, estimate, and support system development efforts.

• Implement market-leading practices and Agile methodologies.

• Stay updated on software development trends and innovations.

• Inspire and lead cross-functional teams.

• Promote balance and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience working on cloud-hosted solutions.

• Background in software development across multitier architectures.

• Ability to mentor junior developers.

• Experience managing backlogs, evaluating risks, and balancing resource distribution.

• Familiarity with Microsoft cloud solutions such as IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless.

• Understanding of security best practices in infrastructure, applications, IAM, and data analysis solutions.

• Proficient in scripting.

• Experience with Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Capacity to comprehend business needs and provide daily support to other teams.

• Comfortable with remote work and collaboration across different time zones.

• Experience leveraging AI in development processes and daily activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proficient/Fluent in English.

• Experience in identifying business opportunities, prioritizing customer requirements, proposing viable technical solutions, managing multiple stakeholders, assessing complex scenarios, recognizing synergies, and developing business cases.

• Background in software development for web applications using agile techniques.

• Nice-to-have: Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Node JS, Java, Python, RESTful APIs, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, Office 365.

• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with low-code tools, modern web UI technologies, Angular, React, HTML5, CSS3, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, ARM Templates, Terraform, Chef, Ansible, and Outsystems.

• OutSystems and Cloud certifications are an asset.
