IT Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Evaluate business processes and gather requirements.

• Connect business needs with technological solutions.

• Define and document business requirements effectively.

• Develop user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

• Lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders.

• Perform user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Assist in the successful delivery of projects within an agile setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process enhancement.

• Preferred areas of study include Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in agile methodologies and principles of project management.

• Advanced expertise in data analysis and reporting utilizing Excel, Power BI, and SQL.

• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management/documentation tools.

• Exceptional skills in gathering and documenting requirements.

• Knowledge of Procure to Pay processes is preferred.

• Strong communication and facilitation skills for conducting workshops and stakeholder meetings.

• Proven ability to convert business needs into technical specifications.

• Experience in creating user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

• Proficient in executing user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Capability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational abilities.

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and JD Edwards is preferred.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Some travel may be necessary (5–25% depending on the role).
