IT Audit Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct IT audits to support financial statement audits by utilizing established IT General Controls.

• Engage with the client's IT leadership to assess the functionality of existing controls.

• Collect and review evidence pertaining to higher-risk controls.

• Draft reports that highlight gaps, risks, and suggested improvements.

• Execute controls assessments for both attest and advisory services.

• Evaluate IT General Controls regarding their design, implementation, and operational effectiveness for SOC reporting.

• Carry out SOX 404 internal audits focusing on IT General Controls.

• Oversee multiple engagements and manage competing priorities within a dynamic team setting.

• Cultivate and sustain excellent client relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT General Controls or auditing.

• Background in financial statement auditing or accounting is advantageous.

• Experience with SOX 404 compliance.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities.

• Proficient in computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Outstanding client service and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain client relationships.

• Capability to handle multiple engagements and competing demands in a rapidly evolving, fast-paced team environment.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

• IT Security experience or relevant security training is a plus.

• Possession of CPA, CISA, CISM, or CISSP certifications is advantageous.

• Minimum internet speed requirement of 50–100 Mbps.

• A dedicated home office area providing a private and quiet workspace.

• A backup for power and internet is essential.
