This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, coordinate, and manage testing processes for Epic applications and integrated healthcare systems.
• Ensure comprehensive testing of system changes, upgrades, optimizations, and implementations prior to production deployment.
• Oversee testing planning, test management, defect management, collaboration with stakeholders, and documentation/compliance.
• Provide tier-2 support for application incidents, including 24/7 on-call availability as necessary.
• Play a significant role in intricate software upgrade initiatives.
• Lead small to medium complexity software installations and enhancement requests.
• Implement changes using documented procedures that comply with policies.
• Act as a technology subject matter expert, conveying technical concepts in business-friendly terms.
• Identify opportunities for application improvement, optimization, enhancement, and addressing technical debt.
• Investigate complex issues and formulate solution options considering risks, benefits, costs, and implications.
• Maintain project documentation and workflows while supporting activities.
• Mentor members of the Application Analyst I and II teams.
• Coordinate application support with Infrastructure, Integration, Enterprise Analytics, and help-desk teams.
• Facilitate team and cross-team meetings and keep accurate meeting records.
• Advocate for the appropriate use of AI-enabled tools and pursue continuous training and certification.
• Proven experience in coordinating testing efforts for enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing and defect management processes.
• Experience in healthcare environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tracking platforms is preferred.
• Relevant healthcare IT certifications such as CSM, PMP, or CPHIMS are preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or Health Administration, Management Systems, Technology, Health Information Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• At least 7 years of experience as an Application Analyst with progressively responsible, relevant work.
• Experience with two major application platform upgrades or implementations is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio.
• Capability to analyze highly complex systems and workflows.
• Ability to conceptualize, plan, organize, coordinate, and manage large programs or functions.
• Skill in engaging in complex discussions and negotiating outcomes.
• Strong self-direction with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Capacity to develop innovative solutions and challenge existing processes.
• Competence in analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and interpreting results.
• Advanced understanding of AI, including its risks and limitations.
• Exceptional written, oral, instructional, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare and clinical operations.
• Familiarity with Workday, Epic, or comparable software platforms and healthcare information systems.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of server operating systems, storage systems, databases, scripting languages, monitoring, and job scheduling tools.
• EPIC Certification.
