IT Application Specialist – ERP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Ensure the effective operation and ongoing enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Dynamics Navision 2017.

• Oversee the application throughout its complete lifecycle, from implementation to eventual replacement.

• Convert business needs into IT solutions and manage the technical implementation process.

• Plan and supervise updates, releases, testing, documentation, and training initiatives.

• Identify optimization opportunities and advocate for automation and digital transformation.

• Ensure adherence to internal standards and external data protection mandates.

• Maintain and enhance existing ERP interfaces, including those connecting to label software and MES.

• Develop new interfaces as required.

• Collaborate across various locations with business units, key users, IT staff, and external partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in managing Microsoft Business Central and Microsoft Dynamics Navision.

• Strong understanding of data models and business processes in areas such as finance, logistics, and production.

• Familiarity with interfaces to and from ERP systems.

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

• Experience in IT consulting or project management.

• Proficiency in German.

• Very good command of English.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
