ISR Systems Engineer – Commercial Imagery Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Incorporate commercial imagery providers into the collection tool, ensuring proper request protocols, data formats, and delivery methods.

• Collect and implement user-requested modifications to the map interface.

• Analyze and resolve data-flow bottlenecks and technical issues within a live production environment.

• Collaborate with planners and analysts to convert operational needs into specific requirements.

• Keep updated documentation for the tool, detailing status, known issues, collection metrics, and suggestions.

• Provide reports on tool performance, including availability, job success rates, changes from the previous period, and recommended actions.

• Oversee and sustain a satellite imagery collection tool utilized for delivering commercial imagery to operational systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, along with an awareness of current satellite capabilities.

• A minimum of five years' experience in multi-mission planning involving orbit and sensor modeling.

• Practical experience in developing and operating satellite collection tools for national or multinational clients.

• Strong proficiency with GIS and web mapping libraries.

• Familiarity with integrating multiple commercial imagery providers into a single collection capability using their respective protocols.

• Exceptional spoken and written English skills, as evidenced by recent work.

• Ability to work independently without supervision as well as effectively within a team.

• Strong research and analytical skills.

• A genuine enthusiasm for problem-solving.

• Experience in defense or military intelligence processes is a plus.
