Irrigation Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and modify irrigation design drawings using AutoCAD/IrrigationFX in accordance with company standards.

• Develop layouts and hydraulic designs for systems.

• Choose suitable products and their equivalents for each design.

• Determine the appropriate sizes for tanks and pumps, including Grundfos pumps, to meet system specifications.

• Prepare bills of materials and product schedules when necessary.

• Manage CRM, projects, and timesheet records within the business software.

• Ensure accurate tracking of opportunities, projects, and tasks.

• Interpret written briefs, markups, and design directives from the client and the Adelaide team.

• Clearly communicate progress updates.

• Adhere to deadlines with minimal oversight.

• Collaborate remotely with the Adelaide-based design team during Australian business hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidate must be based in the Philippines.

• Proven experience as an irrigation designer, with a strong grasp of design principles, hydraulics, and system layouts.

• Comprehensive product knowledge of leading irrigation brands, such as Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, and Netafim.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with the ability to produce and edit drawings independently.

• Proficient in Microsoft products.

• Excellent written and verbal English skills.

• Capability to interpret written briefs and markups accurately.

• Competence in managing projects and records within a CRM and project management system.

• Highly organized and self-managing, capable of meeting deadlines remotely with minimal supervision.

• Reliable internet connection is essential.

• Must have a suitable home-office setup, including necessary hardware.

• Required to disclose any ongoing roles or client work.

• Must not be providing design services to any other Australian business.
