IRIS System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Engage in healthcare interoperability, system integration, and data exchange solutions.

• Conceptualize and execute integration and interoperability solutions.

• Create ETL processes and convert healthcare data into FHIR-compliant formats.

• Design and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs.

• Collaborate with healthcare interoperability standards and terminology systems.

• Oversee APIs using API Management and ISC API Manager.

• Provide support for cloud-based environments and virtualization technologies.

• Implement data security, access control, and compliance best practices.

• Utilize Git, Atlassian tools, and deployment automation processes.

• Diagnose and resolve integration, interoperability, and system-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in system integration, interoperability, or healthcare technology solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Practical experience with InterSystems IRIS for Health, Ensemble, Cache, and ObjectScript.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing integration and interoperability solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of HL7 v2, HL7 v3, FHIR, CDA, and X12 standards.

• Experience in building ETL processes and transforming healthcare data into FHIR-compliant formats.

• Proficient in developing and maintaining RESTful and SOAP APIs.

• Familiarity with healthcare terminology standards including SNOMED, ICD, and LOINC.

• Experience in API development, API Management, and ISC API Manager.

• Strong SQL and database management proficiency.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.

• Understanding of data security, access control, and compliance best practices.

• Proficient in using Git, Atlassian tools, and deployment automation processes.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• InterSystems certifications are a notable advantage.

• Experience in healthcare interoperability projects and enterprise integrations.

• Awareness of healthcare privacy and security standards.

• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
