iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain high-performance native iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.

• Integrate advanced product features via backend APIs.

• Design user experience patterns for real-time interactions, including streaming states, progress indicators, retries, and failure recovery.

• Analyze and enhance app performance, battery usage, and memory management.

• Gather user signals and telemetry for ongoing model evaluation and product iteration.

• Collaborate with machine learning and backend engineering teams to establish API contracts and system architectures.

• Ensure production quality, adhere to release standards, and maintain App Store stability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in iOS development with Swift.

• Hands-on experience in implementing AI-driven or machine learning functionalities within mobile apps.

• In-depth understanding of Swift concurrency (async/await), memory management, and background processing.

• Capability to design resilient client experiences that account for network latency, graceful degradation, and dynamic model responses.

• Proven history of launching and supporting consumer-facing production apps on the App Store.

• Knowledge of on-device machine learning frameworks like CoreML.

• Experience with feature flagging implementations.

• Strong product intuition centered on mobile user experience and client-side reliability.
