This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Reconcile ledgers with custodian and bank statements

• Identify and clarify all residual discrepancies

• Generate the finalized reconciliation along with any necessary adjusting entries

• Attribute movements in NAV

• Highlight components that fall outside of tolerance levels

• Draft variance commentary

• Examine trade discrepancies between two systems

• Determine root causes and categorize breaks

• Suggest solutions and create investigation narratives

• Process corporate action events and calculate entitlements for each account

• Manage payment and transfer exceptions by rectifying, returning, or escalating issues

• Align inconsistent merchant and vendor descriptors with a standard registry

• Execute self-contained operational exercises from mock files and deliver analyst outputs evaluated against a rubric

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in fund administration or investment operations, including fund accounting, reconciliations, corporate actions, trade support/middle office, or payment operations, at a fund administrator, custodian, asset manager, or banking operations

• Practical experience with reconciliations, NAV, trade discrepancies, corporate actions, or payment and settlement exceptions

• Proficient in Excel

• CPA or IOC certification is a plus

• Knowledge of fund accounting systems such as SS&C, Geneva, Multifonds, or InvestOne is advantageous

• Familiarity with SWIFT or settlement systems is beneficial

• Complete the assessment: a ledger versus custodian reconciliation that must be reconciled; NAV variance attribution; a trade break root cause analysis and narrative

• Must have US-based work authorization and residency
