This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Inform investigator sites, sponsors, and affiliates about laboratory results, exclusion flags, and test cancellations as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

• Oversee, monitor, and resolve accession holds while keeping the Supervisor and Project Manager informed of any delays.

• Update the database with necessary information and notify personnel of any additional testing requirements.

• Assist sites and sponsors with project-related inquiries through phone and email communications.

• Follow management communications, attend meetings, and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• Aid and support management in the implementation of global processes and protocols.

• Track and report metrics within the established timelines.

• Document and address service failures, escalating unresolved issues to management.

• Serve as a liaison for both internal and external clients.

• Convey the needs of investigator sites when new policies or procedures are under discussion.

• Identify and escalate patient safety concerns.

• Foster mentor-mentee relationships with temporary and newly hired personnel.

• Cultivate trustworthy relationships with external sponsor clients.

• Present overviews of the Investigator Support department to other departments.

• Ensure smooth communication and follow-up with internal and external clients.

• Provide direct answers and guidance to both internal and external clients.

• Take client needs into account when making decisions.

• Promote continuous improvement, quality, and productivity.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Investigator Support Coordinator.

• At least 1 year of prior customer service experience.

• High school diploma required.

• Proficient in computer use and familiar with Windows-based applications.

• Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.

• Self-motivated individual.

• Strong verbal communication skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks and distractions while maintaining professionalism.

• Flexible and adaptable.

• Preferred: Two or more years of previous customer service experience, particularly in call center or telephone support roles.

• Preferred: Two or more years of experience in healthcare, medical, or laboratory settings.

• Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree.
