Investigator Contracts Lead / Site Contracts Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Supervise and coordinate the development, negotiation, and implementation of clinical trial agreements and budgets for designated studies or portfolios.

• Manage contract management workstreams, ensuring that deliverables align with quality standards and timeline expectations.

• Oversee comprehensive site contracting activities, including the use of templates, negotiation, and execution tracking.

• Act as a primary escalation point for contract-related issues and suggest solutions that balance the needs of sponsors, sites, and internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with legal, finance, and project teams on contract terminology, budget assumptions, and risk assessments.

• Track contracting timelines and metrics, identify obstacles, and implement corrective actions to enhance cycle times.

• Provide direction and oversight to Site Contracts Negotiators.

• Assist in the development of contracting playbooks, templates, and standardized processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in law, business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Significant experience in clinical site contracting or related contract negotiation roles within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or healthcare setting.

• Strong understanding of clinical trial agreements, budget frameworks, and essential legal and compliance considerations.

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple studies and priorities concurrently.

• A collaborative approach with experience in guiding or coordinating the work of others.

• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
