This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Investigate, address, and resolve urgent fraud cases, such as account takeovers and card testing incidents.
• Analyze high-risk accounts and categorize fraud vectors utilizing Fraud Taxonomy 3.0 (FT3).
• Conduct root cause analyses of incidents to uncover system and strategy deficiencies.
• Enhance incident response tools and procedures.
• Collaborate with security, fraud, and data science teams to develop scalable, effective solutions.
• Partner with legal and policy teams to evaluate and mitigate associated risks.
• Lead projects, mentor colleagues, and advocate for high-quality standards.
• 3+ years of experience in incident response within security, product abuse, or trust domains.
• 3+ years of experience in analyzing large datasets to resolve issues and/or creating models with a behavioral approach to fraud detection.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Python and SQL, with familiarity in other programming languages.
• Prior experience in log analysis, network security, digital forensics, and conducting incident response investigations.
• Strong ability to communicate findings effectively and emphasize impact.
