This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of inventory strategy and decision-making for designated SKU categories.
β’ Establish replenishment parameters and manage reorder points.
β’ Track excess inventory and identify transitions between MTO-to-Stock and Stock-to-MTO.
β’ Utilize the new SKU selection tool and adhere to Pre-Entry Scoring Gate guidelines.
β’ Manage the internal stocking request process, which includes Product Information Sheets, approval requests, and tracking of receipts.
β’ Analyze stock turnover and maintain the replenishment order list.
β’ Uphold the no-replenishment-without-demand policy.
β’ Facilitate the Monthly Inventory Health Review.
β’ Drive initiatives to reduce dead stock and excess through promotions, fire sales/bundling, and physical disposal.
β’ Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
β’ Ensure alignment of inventory actions with the Distribution Curation & Value Selling Strategy.
β’ Provide inventory-health data and suggestions to the Product Curation Council.
β’ Lead inventory coordination with suppliers, including MOQ renegotiation, return/rotation agreements, and consignment terms.
β’ Maintain and contribute to the Quality Management System (QMS).
β’ Convert inventory strategy into explicit guidance for Procurement, Data Management, IT, Logistics, and other support teams.
β’ A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
β’ 5β8 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or category management.
β’ Proven ownership of inventory strategy and P&L results, including dead stock reduction, working capital enhancement, or fill rate performance.
β’ Strong understanding of safety stock, reorder points, MTO/MTS transitions, demand forecasting, and SKU lifecycle management.
β’ Experience in coordinating cross-functional execution through influence rather than direct authority.
β’ Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
β’ Familiarity with ERP or inventory planning systems like SAP or equivalent.
β’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to leadership.
β’ Capacity to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
β’ Experience in industrial distribution, mechanical components, or B2B manufacturing is highly preferred.
β’ Willingness to travel as necessary, approximately 10β15% annually, primarily within the country.
β’ Must be capable of lifting and handling products or stock items when required.
