Inventory Configuration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the design, configuration, and support of Oracle Cloud ERP Inventory Management features.

• Configure components of Oracle Inventory, including items, catalogs, item attributes, units of measure, item templates, and lifecycle states.

• Establish and manage inventory frameworks such as subinventories, locators, cost groups, material-status rules, and reservations.

• Assist in the configuration of lot and serial controls, expiration attributes, and compliance-driven tracking needs.

• Oversee transaction setup for receipts, issues, transfers, cycle counts, physical inventory, and adjustments.

• Ensure that inventory configuration is integrated with Purchasing, Order Management, Manufacturing, Cost Management, and Warehouse Management.

• Convert functional and operational requirements into precise, scalable ERP configurations.

• Provide support during testing phases, troubleshooting, and the development of functional specifications.

• Keep documentation updated for configuration, testing, and operational workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in configuring Oracle Inventory (Oracle Cloud ERP is highly preferred).

• Strong knowledge of inventory processes, supply-chain operations, and warehouse management controls.

• Capability to interpret business requirements and translate them into system configurations.

• Experience with test management, issue resolution, and functional documentation.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.
