Interoperability Implementation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and engage in discussions with the leadership of provider organizations and internal teams, overseeing EMR integration implementations from the planning stage to go-live and beyond.

• Execute implementations that involve SMART-on-FHIR applications, HL7/FHIR services, proprietary APIs, CCDA data retrieval, and various interoperability technologies.

• Act as the main point of contact responsible for the success of provider EMR integrations.

• Collaborate with Customer Success on pre-implementation scoping, planning, readiness evaluations, security questionnaires, IT resource distribution, and governance.

• Synchronize technical EMR implementations with provider onboarding tasks alongside Clinical Operations and Customer Success.

• Oversee project documentation, action items, timelines, decisions, and implementation-system data.

• Coordinate client teams and third-party partners, including Epic, athena, and Redox.

• Investigate and address issues through collaboration across teams.

• Manage project schedules, milestones, and delivery commitments.

• Carry out administrative setup, test-data configuration, system setup, product demonstrations, training, issue exploration, and problem resolution.

• Facilitate functional testing, thorough UAT, and validation of production migration.

• Troubleshoot problems and identify solutions collaboratively with colleagues.

• Partner with Support Engineers on technical execution, integration health monitoring, and relevant metrics reporting.

• Utilize standardized procedures, templates, and self-service tools.

• Identify and escalate risks, obstacles, and dependencies.

• Provide accurate project updates and statuses to stakeholders and internal leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Over 3 years of experience implementing intricate healthcare software within provider practices.

• More than 3 years of experience with integration technologies such as SMART-on-FHIR applications and HL7/FHIR services.

• Strong understanding of provider workflows, risk adjustment, and quality care metrics.

• Exceptional project management and cross-functional coordination abilities.

• Outstanding communication and expectation management skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in technical integration products and concepts, including APIs, data feeds, and EMR configurations.

• Capable of articulating clearly on EMR integration and interoperability subjects and technologies.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations effectively.

• Strong ownership mindset with a tendency towards hands-on execution.

• Effective communication skills.
