This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and expand international payroll operations across the LATAM, EMEA, and APAC regions.
• Oversee, audit, and implement multi-country payroll delivery in over 15 international locations.
• Handle payroll inputs, validation, approvals, funding coordination, reconciliations, statutory filings, and post-payroll activities.
• Direct payroll calendars and operational schedules across countries, managing dependencies, deadlines, exceptions, and risks.
• Collaborate with local in-country payroll service providers.
• Supervise international equity compensation payroll processing for RSUs and stock options.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance across international tax jurisdictions, localized statutory benefits, and reporting requirements.
• Lead payroll technology initiatives utilizing Workday to automate workflows, enhance configurations, and create custom reports.
• Work in partnership with People, Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, Equity, Internal Audit, Benefits, and People Operations teams.
• Manage external payroll vendors and third-party tax fulfillment partners.
• Develop, document, and enforce global payroll policies, SOX controls, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in M&A integrations, new market entries, and cross-functional launches.
• Report directly to the Sr. Global Payroll Manager.
• 5–7+ years of progressive payroll operations experience within a high-growth, publicly traded technology company with a global presence.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in payroll, accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Workday Payroll, including reporting, configuration, and integrations.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets, including vlookups, index/match, and pivot tables.
• In-depth understanding of global equity taxation, statutory compliance, international labor laws, and multi-currency payroll distribution.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• High level of discretion in handling confidential information.
