This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct quality assurance for PGT laboratory and genetic counseling protocols.

• Utilize knowledge in clinical, molecular, and population genetics to validate laboratory report data.

• Assist laboratory scientists in generating reports for complex or non-standard results.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at departmental and product enhancement.

• Offer clinical and technical support to staff, clients, and external genetic counselors across various laboratories.

• Oversee domestic and international PGT-M and PGT-SR cases from enrollment through to test completion.

• Conduct genetic counseling consultations and prepare enrollment summaries or consultation reports.

• Review PGT-M sub-cycle orders in relation to clinical case acceptance criteria.

• Aid clinics, patients, and the organization with PGT procedures.

• Engage in genetic counseling projects, meetings, training sessions, and group initiatives.

• Complete ongoing education and submit necessary CEUs.

• Assist in post-launch PGT data collection and analysis.

• Support reproductive genetic counseling and Fertility Patient Programs with operational and quality initiatives.

• Manage intricate PGT case reports, sub-cycle reviews, and laboratory investigations.


⛳️ Requirements

• MS degree in Human Genetics or a comparable field from an American Board of Genetic Counseling accredited institution, or its international equivalent.

• Board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.

• Possess or be able to obtain a genetic counseling license in the relevant states.

• At least three years of pertinent genetic counseling experience, including a minimum of one year in a laboratory environment.

• Proven ability to efficiently and accurately manage complex situations.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Capability to sit for extended periods while using computer equipment in standard office conditions.

• Occasional travel, both domestic and international, may be required (<10%).

• Successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of previous employment, criminal conviction history, educational background, and driving records.
