This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Assist in enhancing Sophos Life, the program focused on employee engagement and cultural communication.
• Create initiatives for employee storytelling that highlight achievements, team successes, volunteering efforts, wellbeing, learning and development, inclusion, belonging, and culture.
• Establish a sustainable content pipeline in collaboration with HR, Employee Resource Groups, regional teams, and various business functions.
• Formulate and execute internal communication plans that align with business priorities and cater to employee needs.
• Oversee and update the internal communications editorial calendar.
• Guide stakeholders regarding audiences, messaging, communication strategies, channels, timing, and delivery plans.
• Collaborate with senior leaders on leadership communications, announcements, emails, blogs, talking points, FAQs, presentations, and materials intended for employees.
• Assist in communications related to organizational changes, strategic initiatives, and business priorities.
• Produce and refine communications across various platforms including the intranet, email, newsletters, campaigns, video, and digital employee channels.
• Manage and enhance intranet content and internal communication experiences.
• Design campaigns focused on employee engagement, culture, People, HR, and organizational initiatives.
• Assess communication effectiveness by utilizing engagement metrics, channel analytics, and employee feedback.
• Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to facilitate research, planning, content creation, productivity, and innovation in communication.
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Internal Communications & Employee Experience.
• Extensive experience in internal communications, employee engagement, corporate communications, or a related field.
• Proven track record in developing and executing communication strategies within a multifaceted organization.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities tailored for diverse audiences.
• Experience providing advice and partnership to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution.
• Proficient in managing communication campaigns, editorial calendars, and competing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of employee experience, engagement principles, and best practices in internal communications.
• Familiarity with managing digital communication channels such as intranets or employee platforms.
• Experience in utilizing communication analytics and insights to assess impact and enhance effectiveness.
• Proficiency in AI tools for communications, content generation, or productivity enhancements.
• Strong project management abilities and capability to produce high-quality work efficiently.
• Legal authorization to work in the location where the position is advertised, without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Preferred: experience in global technology or cybersecurity, executive communications, employee engagement or culture programs, multimedia content, SharePoint or similar intranet platforms, new communication tools or AI-enhanced workflows, and employee insights or engagement survey data.
