This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Assist the Internal Communications Manager in formulating and executing the internal communications strategy by offering ideas, feedback, and content while identifying opportunities to enhance network engagement and collaboration.
• Cultivate strong, inclusive, and cooperative relationships with colleagues and teams throughout the network to comprehend communication needs and facilitate effective information sharing.
• Develop clear, engaging, and customized written and visual content for internal platforms and channels, including updates, announcements, graphics, simple videos, and other communication materials.
• Collaborate with the Internal Communications Manager to plan and deliver consistent, effective communications across the network for initiatives and projects utilizing various internal channels.
• Aid in the development and enhancement of internal platforms, ensuring that key information is well-organized, accessible, and consistently updated.
• Assist in refining knowledge management systems and practices by working closely with the IT team to organize documents and critical information across network storage solutions, such as Google Drive and the intranet.
• Identify and coordinate opportunities for learning and knowledge sharing among colleagues and teams, including promoting case studies, achievements, and work across the network while embedding JEDI considerations throughout.
• Plan, organize, and facilitate online meetings, events, and other internal initiatives with the support of the Internal Communications Manager.
• Support initiatives and communications that enhance culture, community, and shared organizational norms in alignment with the internal communications strategy.
• Engage with colleagues in a manner that reflects and reinforces Meliore’s culture and values.
• At least 2 years of previous experience in an internal communications role, with exposure to knowledge management, staff engagement, and organizational communications, preferably within an international network or organization.
• Experience in supporting or executing internal communications projects and initiatives, with the capability to advise and guide colleagues and, when appropriate, senior leaders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to various audiences.
• Proficiency in digital and communication tools such as Slab, Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Drive, SharePoint, Asana, Trello, and Slack.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering work within deadlines.
• A collaborative and generous approach to teamwork in an international and multicultural setting, with sensitivity to diverse perspectives, working styles, and cultural norms.
• Creative, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment where remote work is standard.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, possessing the emotional intelligence to build trust, navigate different perspectives, and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholders and time zones.

• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
• Ability to work within ±6 hours of CET.
