Intern Software Engineer, C/C++

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Establish foundational platforms for networking ASICs and their supporting infrastructure.

• Develop Linux user-space and kernel code that allows 32-bit drivers to utilize DMA for 64-bit virtual memory spaces via Intel and AMD IOMMU controllers.

• Interface with ASIC registers through SPI, SMBus, PCIe, and I2C protocols.

• Create high-resolution timers with accuracy below 100ns.

• Interpret ASIC hardware specifications and collect near-real-time data on packet flows.

• Produce statistics related to network congestion.

• Build configuration-management services utilizing Go and Python.

• Provide support for YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF, and RESTCONF protocols over gRPC, SSH, and SSL for standardized switch configurations.

• Employ tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Slack, and Trello for project management.

• Construct BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS routing protocol agents in C/C++ within a Linux embedded environment.

• Develop fault-tolerant, concurrent agents for high-performance and highly available data centers.

• Participate in creating a fully automated, developer-owned, Python-based continuous test harness that integrates hundreds of devices under test.
