Intern, Regional Business Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing the backlog of local event contracts.

• Input contract information into Optimus and oversee legal documentation.

• Enter guest lists, table assignments, and bidder paddle details into Greater Giving.

• Generate event-related reports and arrange data to assess progress and outcomes.

• Conduct weekly data quality assessments in Givergy, Luminate, Salesforce, and Tableau.

• Input event-related documents and invoices into Salesforce.

• Aid in the creation of Letters of Agreement, Attachment A benefits, and internal proposals.

• Work alongside regional leads to design graphics for event promotional materials.

• Revise and establish standard operating procedures with department heads.

• Maintain and refresh SharePoint resources and documentation.

• Produce brief training videos for onboarding and process education.

• Prepare printed materials, thank-you notes, and donation receipts.

• Provide support for agendas and materials for operations meetings, departmental gatherings, and training sessions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Event Management, Legal, or a similar discipline preferred.

• Experience or interest in Business Management, Data Management and Analytics, Nonprofit Operations, Fundraising Events, or Project Coordination.

• Preferred experience in contract management, invoice processing, or accounts payable.

• Prior experience with Salesforce or similar customer database is preferred.

• Capability to multitask and effectively manage time in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Proficient in one-on-one and group communication.

• Ability to interact professionally with community leaders, volunteers, and staff.

• Strong oral and presentation communication skills.

• Skill in managing multiple priorities across various entities.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Basic familiarity with Canva.

• Reliable WiFi connection required.

• Minimum availability of 25 hours per week, Monday–Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Remote work must be conducted within the United States, not from a foreign location.
