Intern – PMO Strategy, Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Assist in strategic initiatives aimed at improving the effectiveness, maturity, and innovation of the Program Management Office.

• Research and create practical AI use cases to enhance project delivery, reporting, meeting management, and productivity within PM.

• Evaluate PMO processes and suggest enhancements for governance, portfolio reporting, project execution standards, and stakeholder engagement.

• Help develop a framework for assessing external vendor, partnership, acquisition, and innovation opportunities.

• Execute interviews, surveys, and data analysis as part of the PMO health assessment and organizational improvement efforts.

• Design and curate PMO knowledge management resources, which include project templates, SOPs, best practices, training materials, and collaboration spaces in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

• Produce executive-ready presentations, dashboards, process maps, scorecards, and recommendations tailored for senior leadership.

• Collaborate with cross-functional Labcorp teams to gather requirements, identify opportunities, and facilitate strategic decision-making.

• Contribute to projects that focus on artificial intelligence, innovation, vendor management, organizational effectiveness, and knowledge management.

• Engage with senior leaders for exposure to enterprise-wide decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Project Management, Information Systems / Computer Science, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or Operations Management.

• Preferred: At least 3 months of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.

• Preferred: At least 3 months of experience with tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Power BI, Power Platform, or Microsoft Copilot.

• Preferred: At least 3 months of coursework, academic projects, or relevant experience in project management, business transformation, strategy, operations, technology, or organizational effectiveness.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent skills in written, verbal, and presentation communication.

• Ability to organize information and produce clear, concise documentation.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with diverse teams.

• A demonstrated sense of curiosity, initiative, and a commitment to continuous learning.

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

• Interest in healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences, or technology-driven business transformation.

• Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors, expected to graduate between December 2027 and June 2029; all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
