This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Assist in strategic initiatives aimed at improving the effectiveness, maturity, and innovation of the Program Management Office.
• Research and create actionable AI use cases to enhance project delivery, reporting, meeting management, and productivity within PM.
• Evaluate PMO processes and suggest enhancements to governance, portfolio reporting, project execution standards, and stakeholder engagement.
• Aid in establishing a structured framework for assessing external vendors, partnerships, acquisitions, and innovation opportunities.
• Carry out interviews, surveys, and data analysis for a PMO health assessment and organizational enhancement initiative.
• Contribute to the design and organization of PMO knowledge management resources, such as project templates, SOPs, best practices, training materials, and collaborative spaces within Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Develop executive-ready presentations, dashboards, process maps, scorecards, and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Labcorp teams to gather requirements, evaluate opportunities, and facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Engage in significant projects and acquire practical experience supporting Labcorp's healthcare innovation mission.
• Participate in company-wide learning, leadership exposure, intern events, speaker sessions, professional development, ERG involvement, and mentoring opportunities.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Project Management, Information Systems/Computer Science, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or Operations Management.
• Preferred: At least 3 months of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Preferred: At least 3 months of experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Power BI, Power Platform, or Microsoft Copilot.
• Preferred: At least 3 months of coursework, academic projects, or experience related to project management, business transformation, strategy, operations, technology, or organizational effectiveness.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficient in organizing information and producing clear, concise documentation.
• Capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and commitment to continuous learning.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational competencies.
• Interest in healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences, or technology-driven business transformation.
• Must be currently enrolled in a relevant degree program.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• 11-week paid internship.
