
Intern – Oncology Medical Affairs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Perform literature reviews and synthesize clinical findings.
• Assist in creating scientific materials, presentations, and educational tools for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor activities related to scientific congresses, competitive intelligence, and customer insights.
• Recognize emerging trends pertinent to oncology diagnostics and precision medicine.
• Collaborate with teams in Medical Affairs, Commercial, Research, and Market Access.
• Support initiatives for diagnostic development and implementation.
• Contribute to special projects that further organizational goals.
• Engage in training and development opportunities.
• Utilize newly gained knowledge in assigned tasks.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, PharmD, PhD, or MD program with a focus on Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Genetics, Pharmacy, or Medicine.
• 3-6 months of prior internship, research, clinical, or laboratory experience.
• Preferred: Completion of 2 years of undergraduate coursework by the start of the internship.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in reviewing scientific literature, conducting research, or data analysis in an academic or laboratory context.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience with scientific publications, poster presentations, or medical communications.
• Interest in oncology, molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, or Medical Affairs.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive scientific and business information.
