Intern, AI-Driven Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Become a part of a dynamic, international team of developers and testers based in Poland and the UK.

• Create and develop contemporary, scalable solutions from the ground up as part of a strategic IT ecosystem transformation within the travel sector.

• Handle backend tasks in .NET, maintain APIs, and support system integrations.

• Produce clean, testable code and develop unit tests with guidance from mentors.

• Leverage AI tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and conducting technical research.

• Engage in code reviews, participate in internal workshops, and showcase technical demonstrations.

• Investigate bugs and analyze logs.

• Work collaboratively with seasoned developers.

• Validate AI-generated solutions prior to implementation.

• Exhibit problem-solving abilities, formulate AI-related questions, verify answers, and demonstrate technical decision-making throughout the recruitment process.

⛳️ Requirements

• An intern or junior .NET developer with a strong foundation in C# and a desire to learn.

• Practical experience gained through personal projects, a GitHub profile, or commercial work.

• Fundamental understanding of backend development, Web API, Entity Framework, and databases.

• Proficient in Git and capable of reading and enhancing existing code.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or Gemini for debugging, research, and automation tasks.

• Awareness of AI limitations, including hallucinations, data security, privacy issues, and verification needs.

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or above.

• Excellent communication skills, self-sufficiency, curiosity, and a willingness to accept constructive criticism.

• An active GitHub profile or a portfolio showcasing post-hours applications.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and database optimization techniques.

• Initial experience in writing unit tests.

• A keen interest in work automation and productivity-enhancing tools.

• A commitment to continuous self-improvement and a problem-solving mentality.
