Intern, AI-Driven Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Become a part of a dynamic, international team comprising skilled developers and testers from Poland and the UK.

• Create and develop modern, scalable solutions from the ground up to replace legacy systems for a prominent company in the travel industry.

• Work on backend tasks using .NET, manage APIs, and provide support for system integrations.

• Produce clean, testable code and create unit tests with guidance from mentors.

• Employ AI tools for tasks such as code generation, refactoring, debugging, and technical research.

• Engage in code reviews, internal workshops, technical demonstrations, and analysis of bugs/logs.

• Collaborate with seasoned developers and validate AI-generated solutions prior to implementation.

• Take part in technical discussions and practical inquiries regarding .NET, C#, APIs, and AI tools throughout the recruitment process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of C# and a desire to progress within the .NET / ASP.NET Core ecosystem.

• Practical experience showcased through personal projects, a GitHub profile, or professional exposure.

• Fundamental grasp of backend development, Web API, Entity Framework, and databases.

• Proficient in Git with the capability to read and enhance existing code.

• Experience in utilizing AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Gemini) for debugging, research, and automation.

• A good awareness of AI limitations, including hallucinations, data security, privacy, and the importance of verification.

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.

• Excellent communication skills, self-reliance, curiosity, and a willingness to accept constructive feedback.

• An active GitHub profile or a portfolio showcasing post-hours applications.

• Basic understanding of SQL and database optimization.

• Initial experience in writing unit tests.

• A keen interest in work automation and productivity tools.

• A mindset dedicated to continuous self-improvement and problem-solving.
