Intermediate Test Engineer – Manual/Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Execute manual testing scenarios for new features, focusing mainly on the user interface.

• Conduct API and backend/integration testing as required.

• Develop and sustain automated tests utilizing C#/.NET.

• Carry out end-to-end testing as product requirements and features progress.

• Assess product functionality and user workflows to detect issues and bugs.

• Examine errors, failures, and system logs in Datadog.

• Leverage product knowledge and QA expertise to independently verify functionality with minimal documentation.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, business, and client teams to clarify requirements and address issues.

• Engage in bi-weekly release activities and provide assistance during late-night releases.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of practical QA experience with a strong foundation in both manual and automated testing.

• Direct experience with test automation using C#/.NET.

• Extensive experience in UI testing, including tools like Playwright or similar UI automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.

• Proficient in backend and integration testing.

• Experienced in testing end-to-end functionality and identifying defects independently.

• Strong grasp of QA principles and best practices.

• Capability to work efficiently with limited or incomplete documentation.

• Ability to quickly adapt to shifting product requirements and priorities.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills and experience with cross-functional collaboration.

• A proactive and self-sufficient approach to tasks.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• Familiarity with Datadog for error, failure, and system log review (preferred).

• Knowledge of GCP and Harness (preferred).

• Experience using Jira and Confluence (preferred).

• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-driven tools (preferred).
