Intermediate Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the quality and dependability of POS solutions through hands-on manual testing and close collaboration with global teams and stakeholders.

• Conduct manual testing of POS applications across web, Windows, Android, and iOS platforms.

• Execute REST API testing and validate system integrations.

• Assess new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure dependable performance.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects, collaborating closely with developers for timely resolution.

• Develop, maintain, and update test cases, test plans, and other QA documentation.

• Work with cross-functional teams to uphold quality throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software testing with a focus on manual testing.

• Strong comprehension of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC/STLC.

• Practical experience in testing web applications.

• Hands-on experience with REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Proven experience in creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and documentation.

• Strong understanding of defect management, bug life cycle, and various bug types.

• Hands-on experience with Jira.

• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for daily communication with global teams and stakeholders.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Team-oriented mindset with experience collaborating closely with in-office, cross-functional teams.

• Experience in testing mobile applications (Android/iOS) is preferred.

• Familiarity with testing POS systems and hardware peripherals is advantageous.

• Background in the restaurant, hospitality, or POS industry is a plus.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Kanban, is preferred.

• Resume in English is required.
