This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +4 more countries.
• Serve as the primary responder to production alerts and incidents.
• Oversee system health utilizing Datadog, LogicMonitor, or comparable tools.
• Examine logs, metrics, and traces to assess the scope and impact of incidents.
• Oversee the incident lifecycle, including triage, prioritization, and coordination of escalations.
• Document and monitor incidents in ServiceNow and Jira Service Management.
• Collaborate with application and development teams to facilitate quicker resolutions.
• Provide preliminary technical analysis during incident responses.
• Deliver clear and concise updates on incidents, translating technical statuses into actionable insights.
• Ensure accurate incident documentation is maintained.
• Conduct structured handovers for incoming analysts during shifts.
• Maintain 24/7 client support on a rotating schedule of 3 days on / 3 days off, with 8-hour shifts aligned to EST.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support and incident management, including triage, prioritization, and escalation.
• Proficient in using monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog and LogicMonitor.
• Capability to navigate dashboards and perform log correlation effectively.
• Strong understanding of DNS, load balancing, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Methodical troubleshooting approach.
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability during critical incidents.
• Capacity to adhere to operational processes while ensuring 24/7 shift coverage.
• Knowledge of security best practices, encompassing access control, data protection, phishing prevention, and compliance with security policies.
• Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow and/or Jira Service Management.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Slack or Microsoft Teams in a support context.
• Preferred: Background in Help Desk, NOC, SOC, or L1/L2 technical support.
• Preferred: Knowledge of AWS and Azure.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Preferred: Exposure to PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Amazon RDS.
• Preferred: Experience with GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, and Amazon SQS.
• CV must be submitted in English.
