Intermediate Implementation Consultant, Bilingual English - Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Engage in all stages of customer implementations, which encompass requirements gathering, installation, scripting, configuration, integration, training, testing, and go-live activities.

• Offer post-sales support for software implementation, scripting, upgrades, and migrations.

• Oversee the technical delivery of the project team to guarantee quality, timely, and budget-friendly outcomes.

• Proactively identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining comprehensive issue tracking and action items.

• Collect solution delivery requirements and comprehend customer use cases, commands, and parameters.

• Facilitate onsite and/or remote project workshops and consultations with customers.

• Create and review technical documentation for customers, including high-level designs, architecture diagrams, go-live checklists, methods of procedure, and acceptance test plans.

• Design and develop scripts for solution delivery, migration, and static data imports.

• Provide onsite and/or remote training for customers on the product.

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions when transitioning projects to technical support.

• Serve as a liaison among customers, sales, professional services, engineering, and technical support.

• Establish service delivery best practices, mentor colleagues, assist with onboarding, and contribute to Professional Services processes, documentation, and the knowledge base.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Mexico and work from a home office with legal authorization to work in that country.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 2–5 years of experience in a customer-facing position implementing complex software solutions.

• Strong skills in VM, Unix/Linux, and Unix shell scripting.

• Experience in developing with JavaScript, Python, and Perl.

• Proficiency in SQL and relational data models.

• Familiarity with installing and configuring Oracle, MySQL, and/or MongoDB databases.

• Experience using Ansible and YAML.

• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as MRTG, Nagios, Cacti, and Sniffer.

• Proficient in utilizing REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and software integrations.

• Experience in implementing load balancing and HTTP servers with NGINX and HAProxy.

• Familiarity with OpenLDAP, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Kibana Dashboards, Kafka, and Postman.

• Understanding of security architectures and firewalls.

• Network knowledge and skills, including TCP/IP, UDP, routing protocols, Layer 2 and 3 switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

• Knowledge of telecommunications domains and standards, such as TR-069, DOCSIS, PacketCable, GPON, Metro Ethernet, and DHCP.

• Previous experience with cloud computing concepts, including GCP and Microsoft Azure.

• Experience in deploying containerized solutions using Kubernetes and Docker.

• Familiarity with BSS/OSS is required.

• Understanding of complex deployment architectures and the ability to design scalable and high-availability systems.

• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate time zones across the Americas.

• Highly proficient in spoken and written English and Spanish.

• Nice to have: Experience in Telecoms or with a Cable Operator.

• Nice to have: Professional working proficiency in spoken and written Portuguese.
