Implementation Specialist, File Checking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients from the moment the contract is signed to comprehend their file-review framework and set up File Checking accordingly.

• Convert client goals into specific requirements, agreed outcomes, and deliverables for the Product and Engineering teams.

• Develop and oversee implementation plans while serving as the main point of contact for clients.

• Manage technical readiness, testing, and launch activities.

• Offer initial support during the early stages before transferring to Customer Success and Support.

• Configure checking questions, scoring criteria, evidence requirements, and edge cases.

• Assess AI outcomes against human file-checking results, pinpoint discrepancies, and enhance configuration.

• Generate accuracy metrics and insights for pilot reviews and client presentations.

• Utilize knowledge of suitability, COBS 9/9A, Consumer Duty, and FCA guidance.

• Train compliance, T&C, and QA personnel.

• Provide product feedback and assist in creating implementation playbooks, training materials, and the roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a File Checker, Compliance Officer, T&C Supervisor, or a similar role within a financial planning, wealth management, or financial advisory firm.

• In-depth knowledge of advice-file requirements, including suitability reports, fact-finds, risk profiling, capacity for loss, product research and rationale, COBS 9/9A, and Consumer Duty.

• Experience in paraplanning or financial advice alongside file checking.

• Exceptional attention to detail and robust analytical skills to compare AI and human review outcomes and articulate discrepancies.

• Proficient in leading client calls, workshops, and training sessions.

• Strong client and stakeholder management abilities.

• Excellent organizational and planning skills, capable of managing multiple clients and deliverables simultaneously.

• Ability to quickly adapt to various firms and assist in establishing new processes in a dynamic environment.
