Intermediate Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

• Convert high-level business needs into epics, user stories, and precise acceptance criteria.

• Create and maintain documentation for API specifications, integration requirements, data mappings, and validation rules.

• Develop and sustain technical documentation along with end-to-end workflow diagrams.

• Work in close partnership with engineering teams to ensure that requirements are well-defined and technically achievable.

• Proactively identify gaps, clarify ambiguities, and enhance understanding among stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.

• Proven experience in translating business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Technical comprehension of APIs, integrations, backend systems, and data flows.

• Experience in documenting API specifications, integration requirements, and data mappings.

• Familiarity with BA methodologies and experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Proficient in creating workflow diagrams and technical documentation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to adapt and navigate uncertainty and ambiguity while managing multiple priorities.

• Proactive and independent mindset with excellent stakeholder communication skills.

• Upper-Intermediate+ level of English proficiency.

• Knowledge of the payments industry.

• Experience with multi-tenant backend platforms.

• Previous technical background or exposure to engineering.

• Experience working collaboratively in multicultural teams.
