Intermediate Azure Integration Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain RESTful APIs.

• Create and uphold Azure-based API and integration solutions.

• Develop Azure Function Apps along with associated integration components.

• Engage with Azure Service Bus and implement messaging patterns.

• Collaborate with senior developers for solution execution.

• Take part in client-facing project discussions as required.

• Construct, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.

• Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code deployment strategies.

• Work with SQL Server databases and fulfill related data integration needs.

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions that meet team standards and client expectations.

• Establish new Azure-based integration capabilities and modernize existing solutions.

• Primarily focus on developing APIs and integrations within the client's Azure ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of development and development ownership experience.

• Proficient in C# and modern .NET, including .NET Core or later versions.

• Experience in RESTful API development.

• Familiarity with Webhooks.

• Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, including JWT token implementation and utilization.

• Practical knowledge of Azure Functions / Function Apps.

• Familiarity with Azure Service Bus.

• Working knowledge of Azure Integration Services.

• Proficient in Azure API Management and the broader Azure platform.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including querying, development, and exposure to stored procedures.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD implementation, including building, utilizing, and troubleshooting deployment pipelines.

• Experience with Azure DevOps or a comparable CI/CD platform.

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience with Bicep is a plus.
