This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Enhance and promote digital fundraising initiatives throughout the year-end fundraising campaign.
• Report directly to the Director of Philanthropy.
• Compose fundraising appeals utilizing unique organizational personas, including Sal Khan, the Chief External Affairs Officer, and the Community Giving Manager.
• Produce and refine email content for October, November, and December in alignment with campaign themes, brand voice, and donor engagement objectives.
• Assist in mid-level email copywriting for the Community Giving to Mid Level upgrade campaign and other related communications as necessary.
• Utilize existing AI tools to optimize copy editing and email production processes.
• Develop email journeys and standalone emails necessitating advanced segmentation and personalization for Community Giving and Mid Level.
• Oversee intricate email data extensions in partnership with fundraising managers and marketing email specialists.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of email communications.
• Work collaboratively with fundraising managers and the design team on visual assets that align with the year-end strategic narrative.
• Engage across fundraising efforts throughout the year-end campaign, attend meetings as required, and address Slack inquiries and requests during business hours.
• The contract is expected to conclude on 1/4/2027.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital fundraising or a comparable mass marketing role.
• Proficiency in utilizing AI for copywriting and the ability to adapt between various executive voices while crafting high-converting, empathetic content.
• Experience in audience segmentation and A/B testing strategies.
• Familiarity with building emails in email service providers, preferably SFMC.
• Experience collaborating with fundraising and marketing design and paid media teams to develop a cohesive multi-channel experience.
• Capability to manage email production and campaigns across multiple functions, establish timelines, ensure on-time completion, and identify potential issues or obstacles.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
