Interface Developer, Pentaho

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain interfaces for enterprise systems utilizing Pentaho and associated integration technologies.

• Develop, consume, and sustain RESTful APIs, web services, and other components for integration.

• Construct and support batch, real-time, and event-driven integrations spanning ERP platforms, cloud services, and third-party applications.

• Design and execute ETL processes to extract, transform, validate, and load data across various source and target systems.

• Collaborate with solution architects, functional consultants, business analysts, and client stakeholders to assess requirements and create technical integration solutions.

• Diagnose and resolve interface, API, and data integration issues while enhancing performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Implement processes for error handling, logging, monitoring, and recovery to ensure stable production operations.

• Create and maintain interface specifications, technical documentation, deployment procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.

• Engage in integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployments.

• Ensure that integration solutions adhere to security, development, and data-governance standards.

• Take part in Agile sprint planning, design discussions, code reviews, and activities aimed at continuous improvement.

• Oversee production interfaces, proactively identify issues, and provide ongoing operational support.

• Collaborate on enterprise transformation initiatives for government organizations utilizing CGI’s CGI Advantage ERP platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting integrations for enterprise systems.

• At least 3 years of practical experience with Pentaho integration and ETL development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Extensive experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services using JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols.

• Experience in integrating ERP applications, enterprise systems, relational databases, and cloud-based services.

• Strong SQL development skills with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar relational database platforms.

• Experience in designing ETL workflows, data mappings, transformation logic, and data validation processes.

• Familiarity with API authentication and security standards, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, and SSL/TLS.

• Experience with Git or other source control/version management tools.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with a proven capacity to collaborate effectively across technical, functional, and client-facing teams.

• Remote candidates should be willing to work PST hours.
