This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Analyze and interpret vendor API documentation along with technical requirements.
• Configure, test, and validate EHR and payer integrations utilizing Postman and API testing frameworks.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new EHR, payer, and partner integrations.
• Set up authentication, security credentials, client IDs, certificates, OAuth workflows, and other related integration components.
• Monitor and uphold the reliability and performance of existing integrations.
• Implement changes based on vendor API updates, newly available capabilities, and security mandates.
• Aid in regression testing and production validation.
• Investigate endpoint health issues and pinpoint integration failures.
• Address Tier 2 and Tier 3 support escalations.
• Troubleshoot production challenges involving APIs, data feeds, authentication, and connectivity.
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and product teams to resolve customer-impacting issues.
• Execute and validate directory data loads while supporting data updates and corrections.
• Review and prioritize integration-related requests and manage ticket workflows.
• Convey technical findings and status updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate troubleshooting efforts with customers, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Maintain Jira tickets and operational documentation.
• Develop technical runbooks and troubleshooting manuals.
• Identify enhancements to support processes and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to future integration strategy and roadmap planning.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong capability to read and comprehend EHR and payer API integration documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Proactive in addressing problems and resolving issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively and produce well-structured written communications.
• Eagerness to learn, develop, and seek constructive feedback.
• Adaptability to new concepts and ability to incorporate new knowledge and skills into daily responsibilities.
• Capability to identify and analyze basic problems while applying analytical thinking.
• Ability to propose improvements, implement changes, and monitor outcomes with moderate supervision.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ongoing education and/or advanced degrees are preferred.
• Experience with HL7 or FHIR is an advantage.
• Background in data integration, EHR systems, and regulatory compliance is desirable.
• Experience in HIPAA and/or PCI-regulated environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with SaaS, actuarial science, and/or insurance underwriting is preferred.
