This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Evaluate candidate conflict questionnaires and associated materials for thoroughness and adherence to Firm policies and ethical standards
• Execute conflict searches for new hires utilizing Firm databases and established search methodologies
• Apply Boolean logic in accordance with Firm guidelines to conduct conflict searches
• Investigate and assess parties, corporate affiliations, and related entities using both internal and external research tools
• Utilize internal and external data sources to analyze and refine conflicts search outcomes
• Recognize potential conflict-related issues and escalate them as necessary
• Correspond with candidates, recruiters, attorneys, and administrative staff concerning new hire conflict inquiries and follow-up needs
• Keep precise records and documentation pertaining to candidate conflict evaluations
• Support training, process enhancement initiatives, and other projects related to conflicts and onboarding
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned
• Exceptional analytical and communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Outstanding organizational and planning capabilities with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines
• Strong research proficiency evidenced by the ability to utilize legal and financial research systems
• Capacity to work autonomously with minimal oversight while effectively collaborating with team members
• Strong customer service focus and the ability to respond professionally to time-sensitive requests
• Ability to exercise prudent judgment and manage confidential and sensitive information with care
• Willingness to work additional hours as required
• Knowledge of Intapp Open
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in processing conflict checks and intake requests via Intapp Open is essential
• Preferably, experience using Intapp Walls as an administrative user
• Required experience in database research and/or familiarity with corporate research resources such as Hoovers/Dunn & Bradstreet, Bureau van Dijk, or Capital IQ
• Desired experience with conflicts database management and familiarity with 3E and iManage
