This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct outbound calls to healthcare professionals as necessary
• Input data into relevant systems to facilitate the enrollment of new and existing patients
• Assess Patient Enrollment Forms for completeness and accuracy
• Recognize potential barriers and adhere to processes outlined in standard operating procedures
• Commence patient benefits verification by analyzing patient data and insurance documents
• Identify absent information and follow up with relevant contacts to fill in information gaps
• Ensure precise and timely data entry into supporting systems
• Monitor possible delays or pending cases
• Assist with new initiatives and process enhancement activities, including end-user testing of new system features and supporting technology
• Foster positive relationships with internal and external customers through effective communication and active listening
• Navigate complex benefits programs and payer landscapes throughout the United States
• Facilitate patient access to financial assistance and reimbursement options
• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in healthcare-related administration, medical coding and billing, customer service, direct benefits verification support, or similar fields
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
• Detail-oriented and customer-centric
• Ability to provide a high-quality, accurate, and compassionate customer experience
• Proficient in utilizing innovative technology while maintaining the integrity of quality information
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in resolving complex issues
• Capacity to learn through both formal and informal channels
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to the audience
• Quick to learn and follow standard operating procedures
• Capable of managing multiple requirements on a daily basis
