Insurance Sales Agent – Quebec, Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Engage with potential members interested in pet insurance offerings.

• Assess each member’s specific requirements and customize insurance solutions accordingly.

• Highlight the benefits of Trupanion’s pet insurance plans.

• Maintain control of calls and steer discussions towards enrollment.

• Provide comprehensive information about policies and coverage options.

• Address inquiries and handle objections from members.

• Accurately enroll pets in insurance plans.

• Gather and meticulously document all necessary information.

• Act as the main point of contact for existing members.

• Respond to policy-related inquiries and offer guidance.

• Ensure overall satisfaction of members.

• Process cancellation requests while understanding members’ concerns.

• Explore alternative solutions and strive to retain members.

• Communicate with members via phone and email, adjusting communication style as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years' experience in a sales and/or customer service environment.

• Prior experience in a bilingual sales or customer service position.

• Active Level 1 Damage Insurance or Level 1 Personal Lines Damage Insurance license issued by the AMF.

• License to sell insurance in Quebec and the province of residence.

• Proficiency in both English and French.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and French.

• Ability to accommodate the diverse needs and preferences of members.

• Goal-oriented approach with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets.

• Capability to manage challenging situations and complaints while providing effective resolutions.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and devise innovative solutions.

• Patience and strong active listening abilities.

• High emotional intelligence.

• Emotional resilience.

• Availability Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET, during the initial 12 weeks of training.

• Flexibility for shifts beginning as early as 8:30 a.m. ET post-training.
