Insurance Follow-up Representative – Denials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Assist Appeals Specialists in obtaining appropriate reimbursement on behalf of healthcare facilities

• Communicate with insurance providers to check the status of claim and appeal submissions

• Navigate accounts through the claim processing systems of insurance carriers

• Review client systems and payer portals for status updates when possible

• Deliver precise and comprehensive feedback

• Accurately document in both internal and external systems

• Provide support for special client initiatives

• Uphold integrity and ethical standards in daily tasks and decision-making

• Work effectively within the team and overall work environment

• Stay focused on personal development and actively seek ongoing feedback and learning opportunities

• Contribute to the Compliance Program by following relevant policies and procedures

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory

• Bachelor's degree is preferred

• In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry

• Ability to identify and resolve claim submission issues

• Proven attention to detail

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Collaborative and adaptable team player

• Strong problem-solving capabilities

• Preferred experience of 1-3 years in insurance follow-up

• Previous remote work experience is advantageous

• Must comply with HIPAA, GLBA, FCRA, and other relevant regulations and policies

• Required to complete necessary compliance training and adhere to confidentiality commitments

• Remote colleagues in the U.S. are not allowed to work from locations outside the United States without prior written consent
