This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala.
• Professionally respond to incoming calls in both English and Spanish.
• Conduct outbound calls for follow-ups, renewals, and updates on policies.
• Assist Spanish-speaking clients in their language of choice.
• Address general inquiries and direct licensing-related questions to licensed personnel.
• Manage client emails and written communications in both languages.
• Create new business quotes and requotes for personal and commercial insurance across various carriers.
• Collect prospect details and complete the initial quote intake process.
• Organize and prepare quote information for review by licensed staff.
• Aid in the completion of ACORD applications and the preparation of proposals.
• Verify coverage options, pricing, and underwriting requirements for precision and compliance.
• Input data and maintain records in EzLynx.
• Process changes to policies, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and general service requests.
• Manage certificates of insurance, mortgagee updates, and adjustments to driver/vehicle information.
• Assist with the preparation for renewals and follow up on pending cancellations.
• Provide support to agents with documentation, follow-ups, and inquiries related to policies.
• Manage servicing for personal lines, including auto, homeowners, condo, renters, umbrella, motorcycle, boat, RV, and ATV policies.
• Gather underwriting documentation and loss runs for commercial lines.
• Prepare submission packages for licensed producers.
• Follow up with underwriters and insurance carriers.
• Handle certificates of insurance, requests for additional insured, and endorsements.
• Communicate with insurance carriers for quotes, updates on policies, and clarifications.
• Navigate carrier portals to access documents and submit necessary information.
• Maintain and update client records in CRM systems.
• Track the status of policies, renewals, and follow-up activities.
• Manage scheduling, calendars, and email triage.
• Organize insurance documents, proposals, and policy files.
• Assist internal teams with reporting, data entry, and workflow management.
• Must demonstrate fluency in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
• A Bachelor's degree (4-Year) is preferred, ideally in Accounting & Finance, Business Studies, Economics, or Public Relations.
• Prior experience in the insurance sector, particularly in personal and/or commercial lines, is preferred.
• Proficiency in EzLynx is preferred, or the ability to quickly learn the system.
• A professional and friendly phone demeanor, capable of building trust with a diverse clientele over calls.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Dependable and proactive, with the ability to manage follow-ups independently.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and navigating carrier portals.
• Experience with U.S. independent insurance agencies is advantageous.
