This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Supervise Team Leads and Specialists, establishing expectations and ensuring accountability for team performance.

• Develop departmental objectives and KPIs that align with the company's goals.

• Provide assistance on complex or escalated claim issues.

• Oversee follow-up on insurance accounts receivable, denial resolutions, and appeals.

• Review Aged Trial Balance and Denial Reports, driving strategies for resolution.

• Monitor reimbursement turnaround times and payer trends, implementing corrective measures as necessary.

• Approve and monitor staffing allocations across teams.

• Ensure adherence to payer requirements, billing regulations, and internal policies.

• Oversee quality assurance reviews for claims and documentation.

• Lead internal audits and take part in external compliance assessments.

• Mentor and develop Team Leads.

• Approve and coordinate training initiatives.

• Conduct performance evaluations and create professional development plans.

• Analyze accounts receivable metrics and generate reports for senior leadership, including recommendations for process improvements.

• Serve as the primary contact for escalated payer issues and client inquiries.

• Collaborate with other managers to facilitate seamless revenue cycle operations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Strong leadership, management, and coaching abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare reimbursement, billing regulations, and denial management.

• Capability to analyze financial and operational data, identify trends, and implement enhancements.

• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills for interactions with internal staff and external payers/clients.

• Proficiency in EMR, clearinghouse platforms, and medical billing systems.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in insurance accounts receivable/revenue cycle management, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.

• Commitment to ongoing education to remain current with billing regulations, payer requirements, and industry standards.

• Ability to sit for extended periods, occasionally lift supplies/equipment, and move up to 15 pounds.

• Willingness to travel for on-site training and attend client meetings as necessary.
