Insurance Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver first-contact resolution for member service inquiries at consumer centers.

• Clarify claims and explain benefits to members.

• Assist members with selecting plans, utilizing member tools and resources, processing premium payments, and accessing community resources.

• Educate consumers on Marketplace products through informational meetings.

• Provide one-on-one enrollment support via healthcare.gov.

• Market health, life, dental, vision, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance plans.

• Create and implement targeted engagement campaigns with community leaders, business owners, retirement communities, nursing homes, and minority groups.

• Enhance consumer center traffic and promote community engagement.

• Utilize AI-enabled tools responsibly to facilitate daily operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a support role or customer service is required.

• Medicare Certification (AHIP) is required to sell Senior Markets Products, or must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained annually.

• Certification to sell Qualified Health Plans is required, or must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained annually.

• An active TN Life and Health license is required at the time of hire, or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

• Willingness to work flexible hours is essential.

• Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving abilities are necessary.

• Must be open to working weekends and/or taking 24-hour calls.

• Bilingual skills are advantageous.

• Willingness to travel 100% across the state; this position is entirely market-based.
