Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete production process of live online courses, from initial planning to final launch.

• Perform market analysis to establish course objectives, learning outcomes, and identify target audiences.

• Manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables to ensure that projects adhere to schedules.

• Work closely with instructors, providing guidance throughout course preparation and practice sessions.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Sales, and Student Success teams to create exceptional learning experiences.

• Assess course materials, marketing content, and sales resources for clarity, accuracy, and educational effectiveness.

• Identify and address production challenges to maintain project momentum.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices in instructional design, and new learning technologies.

• Regularly contribute ideas and feedback to enhance courses and production methodologies.

• Proven experience in instructional design, course production, project management, or a related discipline.

• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities with a capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Strong analytical skills paired with creative problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent command of English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Comfortable working alongside senior professionals and subject matter experts.

• Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a remote, collaborative setting.

• Willingness to collaborate across different time zones.

• A genuine passion for education, continuous learning, and crafting engaging learning experiences.

• Experience in online education or EdTech is an advantage.
