This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collaborate with educators and school administrators in both virtual and face-to-face environments to enhance teaching practices and boost student success.
β’ Provide professional development sessions for educators and leaders in online and in-person formats.
β’ Participate in in-person events that may involve single or multiple days of travel.
β’ Create, revise, and test instructional materials for teachers and students.
β’ Design and conduct tailored training sessions for partner districts.
β’ Create educational resources, including exemplary activities, lessons, and units.
β’ Demonstrate teaching techniques and content-focused activities for NMSI stakeholders.
β’ Offer feedback and insights from training sessions to guide future program development.
β’ Act as an ambassador for NMSI, promoting its mission and values.
β’ Advocate for NMSI within professional circles and assist in recruiting coaches.
β’ Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
β’ Report to a Manager in Program Design & Innovation.
β’ Minimum of three years of teaching experience in a designated Kβ12 subject area or grade level.
β’ Extensive knowledge of subject matter, pedagogy, and instructional methodologies.
β’ Strong understanding of state and national teaching standards relevant to college preparedness, including AP assessment guidelines, Common Core State Standards, and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
β’ Proven comprehension of effective teaching practices and school leadership principles.
β’ Capability to facilitate learning within an online learning management system (LMS) such as Maple, Canvas, or Google Classroom.
β’ Proficiency in navigating and developing course content within an LMS.
β’ Ability to craft engaging learning experiences using content creation tools like Articulate.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
β’ Skills in providing clear, direct, and constructive feedback.
β’ Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
β’ Eagerness to learn from challenges and a commitment to continuous professional development in adult education and facilitation.
β’ Capacity to lead over 100 hours of teacher- or leader-focused events throughout the academic year.
β’ Availability and adaptability to support events during the school day as necessary.
β’ Candidates must successfully pass county, state, and federal criminal background checks as a prerequisite for employment.
β’ Preferred qualifications include experience with STEM education, working in high-need schools or with underserved populations, enhancing student achievement, AP Reader experience, coaching teachers, curriculum modification, and facilitating professional development.

β’ Develop effective methods and best practices for facilitating learning with adult educators.
