This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Create and implement a comprehensive business plan for a vast geographic region.
• Identify, engage, and foster relationships with essential decision makers and stakeholders.
• Interact with physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct visits to physician offices, hospital pharmacies, operating rooms, intensive care units, and various other locations.
• Grasp and convey clear messages in complex clinical scenarios.
• Engage in occasional field travel with internal teams, including management and marketing.
• Leverage data sources to optimize strategies and efficiencies, while seizing high-ROI opportunities.
• Achieve or surpass set sales and profit objectives.
• Manage and monitor territory-specific data utilizing a CRM system.
• Execute other miscellaneous job responsibilities as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare Industry sales.
• Capability to work autonomously and manage key account relationships effectively.
• Proven track record of sales growth while overseeing your own territory.
• Documented history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong business acumen and comprehension of complex clinical information.
• Ability to communicate intricate clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real-time scenarios.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong presentation skills, including the capacity to deliver to teams/groups.
• Proficient interpersonal and virtual engagement abilities.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce).
• Self-sufficient, with the ability to collaborate within a team.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.).
• Must successfully complete and maintain necessary credentialing with healthcare institutions and third-party credentialing providers.
• Willingness to travel as required for the territory/role, including air travel.
• Capability to sit for extended periods.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear.
• May occasionally need to climb stairs and/or use elevators.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to manipulate a keyboard and operate a telephone and handheld devices.
