This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy across a broad geographical region.
• Identify, engage, and foster relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Interact with physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals across various medical subspecialties.
• Conduct visits to physician offices, hospital pharmacies, operating rooms, intensive care units, and other relevant locations.
• Convey clear and effective messages in complex clinical scenarios.
• Participate in regular field travel with internal teams, including management and marketing personnel.
• Utilize data sources to enhance strategies and efficiencies while capitalizing on high-ROI opportunities.
• Achieve or surpass designated sales and profit targets.
• Manage and monitor territory-specific data using a CRM system.
• Travel as necessary within the territory, including air travel.
• Perform additional miscellaneous tasks as required.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare Industry sales.
• Capability to work independently and manage key account relationships effectively.
• Proven track record of sales growth while overseeing an individual territory.
• Documented evidence of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex clinical information.
• Proficiency in articulating intricate clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real-time situations.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation capabilities, including experience presenting to teams or groups.
• Excellent interpersonal and virtual engagement skills.
• Proficient in using CRM tools such as Veeva or Salesforce.
• Ability to work autonomously while being part of a team.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Successful credentialing with healthcare institutions and third-party credentialing vendors; must maintain required credentials throughout employment.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for the territory/role, including air travel.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods; frequently stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear.
• May occasionally need to climb stairs and/or use elevators.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Capable of manipulating a keyboard and operating a telephone and handheld devices.
• Preferred: Experience with Buy and Bill and injectable products.
• Preferred: Background in Oncology.
• Preferred: Experience in hospital sales/account-based selling and familiarity with the P&T/Formulary process.
• Preferred: Knowledge of local/regional health systems.
